Unicars Ltd, one of the leading companies in the automotive sector in Cyprus, proudly representing major brands of VW Group is seeking to recruit an&nbsp;Accounts Officer for full-time employment based in Nicosia. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting our dynamic Finance Team, particularly in managing the accounts receivable ledger and related financial operations.&nbsp;Other main Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li dir="ltr">Maintain and manage the accounts receivable ledger.</li><li dir="ltr">Oversee the collection process of outstanding customer balances via telephone and email.</li><li dir="ltr">Reconcile vendor and customer account statements.</li><li dir="ltr">Post customer receipts accurately and timely.</li><li dir="ltr">Post vendor invoices in accordance with company procedures.</li><li dir="ltr">Process and post payments.</li><li dir="ltr">Perform ad hoc tasks as requested by the Finance Manager.</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Experience Required:&nbsp;<ul><li dir="ltr">Formal education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li><li dir="ltr">Prior relevant accounting and finance experience will be considered as an advantage.</li><li dir="ltr">Experience in collection management (Credit Control) will be considered as an advantage.</li><li dir="ltr">Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English.</li><li dir="ltr">Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.</li></ul>Person specification:&nbsp;The ideal candidate should:<ul><li dir="ltr">Demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.</li><li dir="ltr">Be well-organized and methodical.</li><li dir="ltr">Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li dir="ltr">Be capable of multitasking and managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul>&nbsp;If you want to be challenged and join our team you can submit your CV&nbsp;<a href="https://onlinerecruitment.exelsyslive.com/?c=1f8a881c-9d3a-4bce-9b12-b9f466795d90&amp;v=2025/053">here</a> until&nbsp;07/09/2025.&nbsp;All applications will be treated as strictly confidential.
