This is an opportunity to shape the network operations centre and contribute to the development of best practices while mentoring junior engineers.&nbsp;Here’s what you’ll be doingContribute to the continued growth and reliability of our Enterprise Voice &amp; Messaging platforms, including SIP Trunking, Global DID services, SMS Messaging, and robust APIs. Our diverse customer portfolio includes startups, multinational enterprises, financial institutions, universities, marketing agencies, delivery platforms, and government bodies.&nbsp;You’ll get to:<ul><li>Monitor and manage the stability and performance of our global telecom network and ensure maximum uptime and high message delivery rates</li><li>Take ownership of critical incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term preventive measures</li><li>Lead and support lower-tier engineers during incident escalation and troubleshooting processes</li><li>Manage advanced network configurations, routing rules, and upgrades across SMS and Voice infrastructure</li><li>Develop, implement, and enforce network security practices to safeguard systems from unauthorized access or reaches</li><li>Create and maintain detailed documentation for incident workflows, systems architecture, playbooks, and operational procedures</li><li>Communicate with external vendors (e.g., MNOs, aggregators) and internal stakeholders to resolve service-affecting issues</li><li>Analyze network data to identify anomalies, trends, or capacity issues and proactively optimize performance</li><li>Participate in and improve the on-call rotation processes, ensuring SLAs are met with minimal downtime</li><li>Evaluate and implement tools to enhance monitoring, alerting, and automation within the NOC</li><li>Support training and development of NOC team members through mentorship and knowledge-sharing</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a Network Operations role, ideally within the telecom or SaaS sectors</li><li>Deep expertise in telecommunication protocols: SMPP, SIP, SS7, TLS, TCP/IP, VPN</li><li>Proficient with network and traffic analysis tools: Wireshark, Trace Analyzer, TCPdump, and others</li><li>Familiarity with SMS &amp; Voice platforms,</li><li>Hands-on experience with Alaris switch</li><li>Strong incident response and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to manage escalations and high-severity issues</li><li>Working knowledge of monitoring platforms (e.g., Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus) and log analysis tools (e.g., ELK Stack, Graylog)</li><li>Strong understanding of network security principles and hands-on experience enforcing security protocols</li><li>Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills</li><li>Strong organizational skills and experience in documenting network architecture, incidents, and procedures</li><li>Experience working in 24/7 NOC environments, including participation in on-call rotations</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Competitive salary</li><li>Annual paid leave</li><li>Opportunities for professional growth and certification reimbursement</li><li>A collaborative, diverse and innovative work environment</li><li>Flexible work hours and remote options where applicable</li></ul>Please send your CV and a cover letter by clicking <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://apply.workable.com/intergotelecom/j/9FB001971B/">here</a>.
