QM MARINE LTD. is a ship owning company that operates a fleet of bulk and general cargo vessels.&nbsp;We are looking for an Information &amp; Communications Technology (ICT) Manager to be based at our office in Limassol, Cyprus.&nbsp;Role Overview:The ICT Manager will be the head of the ICT Department, and he/she will be responsible for managing, supporting, maintaining and upgrading the ICT infrastructure of the company, both in the office and onboard vessels.&nbsp;Responsibilities:&nbsp;·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Install, configure and troubleshoot computers, printers, scanners, mobiles, uninterruptible power source (UPS), servers and network devices.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Manage all software and online services and liaise with the relevant software company.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Manage the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software in cooperation with the relevant company’s department.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Troubleshoot and arrange repair services for navigation/bridge equipment and communications systems.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Implement and maintain the company’s cyber security procedures and ensure that the ICT systems security is not compromised.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Monitor performance and ensure ICT systems availability and reliability.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Research the market for software solutions to optimise and improve work for the vessels and company’s departments.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Travel onboard vessels when required to implement their IT infrastructure.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Provide outside office hours remote support to the vessels and office personnel when required.&nbsp;Qualifications:&nbsp;·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within the shipping industry.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Applications, Antivirus, UPS, firewall, networking, backup and replication systems.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Knowledge of ships bridge/navigation and communications systems.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.&nbsp;If you are interested for the position of the ICT Manager, please email your CV to QM Marine Ltd at: <a href="mailto:jeroen.denissen@qmmarine.com">jeroen.denissen@qmmarine.com</a>
