Position Overview:&nbsp;Our company, active in the fresh-cut Fruit &amp; vegetables and Ready meals sector, is seeking to recruit a Quality Control Senior Supervisor to lead and develop the Quality Management System in line with international food safety standards.&nbsp;As the Acting Head of Quality, will lead the quality assurance and control efforts for both our wash-cut fruit and vegetables and our ready-to-eat meal lines.&nbsp;The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and compliance with regulatory requirements, with background in chemical engineering and food technology and extensive experience in food safety management and quality control processes. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead and supervise the Quality Control team</li><li>Ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC, IFS and food legislation</li><li>Manage CCPs, PRPs, non-conformities, and corrective actions</li><li>Liaise with Production, Maintenance, and Procurement teams</li><li>Support new product launches from a quality assurance perspective</li><li>Train personnel on food safety and hygiene standards</li><li>Handle internal and external audits</li><li>Lead the development and implementation of quality management systems (QMS) for fresh produce and ready-to-eat meal lines.</li><li>Oversee compliance with food safety regulations</li><li>Manage a team of quality control technicians to ensure all products meet internal and external quality standards.</li><li>Conduct regular audits and inspections of the production process, from raw material sourcing to final product packaging.</li><li>Collaborate with the production and procurement teams to ensure consistency and safety in product formulation and shelf-life management.</li><li>Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, extend shelf life, and reduce waste.</li><li>Investigate customer complaints related to quality issues and develop corrective action plans.</li><li>Ensure proper sanitation and hygiene practices in all facilities and processes.</li><li>Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements related to food safety and quality.</li></ul>Requirements:&nbsp;·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, or related field·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in food manufacturing·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Hands-on knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC, IFS·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Strong leadership and communication skills·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Fluency in Greek and English&nbsp;Desirable Qualifications:&nbsp;·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Master’s degree in chemical engineering, Food Technology, or a related field.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Experience in ready meals, fresh-cut, or chilled products·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Experience with shelf-life testing and preservation techniques for perishable food products.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Knowledge of packaging technology and its role in maintaining food quality.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Familiarity with microbiological testing and chemical analysis in food safety.&nbsp;We Offer:&nbsp;·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Competitive remuneration package·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Modern and dynamic working environment·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Career growth opportunities toward Quality &amp; Technical Manager level&nbsp;&nbsp;How to Apply: If you meet the above qualifications and are passionate about quality control, we want to hear from you!
