In this role, you will work closely with multiple teams, sharpen your investigative skills, and take your expertise to the next level.&nbsp;Responsibilities:<ul><li>Conduct and document thorough investigations into customer activity on their accounts.</li><li>Gather information from publicly available resources, customers, their relationship managers, and internal systems.</li><li>Review client information, documentation and payments to ensure adequacy and appropriateness.</li><li>Perform checks on client-provided information, assessing political exposure, adverse media, and sanctions connections.</li><li>Collaborate with banking partners to provide additional information needed to conclude investigations effectively.</li><li>Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all investigations and findings.</li><li>Provide consistent and detailed rationales for alert decisions.</li><li>Ensure all alerts are processed in accordance with defined procedures, meeting quality and timeliness standards.</li><li>File unusual activity reports with the Anti-Financial Crime Team or MLRO when necessary.</li><li>Prepare and deliver detailed monthly reports for Senior Management.</li><li>Use intelligence to identify individuals and groups of customers potentially engaged in money laundering activities.</li></ul>&nbsp;Background and Experience:<ul><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Compliance Officer or in a Transaction Monitoring role.</li><li>CySEC Advanced or AML Certification is a plus.</li><li>Experience working within the Payments Industry or an Electronic Money Institution (EMI), particularly with EMIs or PSPs handling high-risk verticals and jurisdictions.</li><li>Experience in an AML/Anti-Financial Crime role, with proficient, practical knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements, including Money Laundering Regulations.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Highly organized with strong attention to detail.</li></ul>&nbsp;Company Package:<ul><li>Salary depends on experience.</li><li>Flexible working hours.</li><li>Short Fridays to kick-start your weekend early.</li><li>1 remote work day per week for better work-life balance.</li><li>Weekly complimentary lunch.</li><li>Birthday perk: Take a half-day off to celebrate your special day.</li><li>Referral bonuses when you help us grow our team.</li><li>Sports Benefit or Wolt lunch allowance.</li></ul>&nbsp;Company Profile:Payine is an International Fintech firm who’s regulated as an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) under the FCA, we offer dedicated business accounts and corporate cards designed to simplify cross-border payments with ease and efficiency making it easy to send and receive funds locally and globally.&nbsp;Apply now by sending your CV to hr@payine.comAll applications will be treated with the strictest confidence.
