This role is positioned at the intersection of design intent and built reality, taking full ownership of technical and construction delivery so that the partners can focus on strategic growth. This is a&nbsp;senior, autonomous role&nbsp;for an architect who brings immediate and measurable value to the practice. The successful candidate must be capable of&nbsp;operating independently, making sound technical and commercial decisions, and confidently representing the office in both client and site environments.&nbsp;Beyond project execution, this role is expected to&nbsp;add strategic value,&nbsp;raising technical standards, improving delivery processes, strengthening contractor and consultant relationships, and positively influencing the overall performance of the office. The position offers a strong positive career trajectory for the right individual. However, this is not a developmental role. The successful candidate must demonstrate the caliber, maturity, and professional authority to perform at a high level from day one and to consistently excel in a demanding, delivery-focused environment. Key ResponsibilitiesOperations &amp; Team Leadership<ul><li>Manage day-to-day project delivery and related office operations</li><li>Oversee resourcing, track team deliverables, and ensure milestones are achieved</li><li>Report directly to Senior Management on programme, budget, risk, and performance</li><li>Mentor and technically lead architectural staff across multiple projects</li></ul>&nbsp;Technical Excellence<ul><li>Lead the production of&nbsp;comprehensive, fully coordinated construction documentation</li><li>Set, maintain, and continuously improve technical and documentation standards</li><li>Ensure all drawings and details comply with current building regulations, planning conditions, and best practice</li><li>Drive buildability, quality, and material innovation throughout the documentation process</li></ul>&nbsp;Site &amp; Contract Management<ul><li>Act as the&nbsp;primary point of contact&nbsp;for clients, contractors, and consultants during construction</li><li>Lead site meetings, resolve RFIs and technical issues, and manage on-site coordination</li><li>Maintain quality control from early works through to completion and final handover</li><li>Act independently on site, proactively identifying issues and adding tangible value</li></ul>&nbsp;Project Lifecycle Ownership<ul><li>Lead projects from&nbsp;Design Development through Planning / Building Permits</li><li>Manage consultant coordination and technical integration</li><li>Oversee construction delivery through to completion, handover, and close-out</li></ul>&nbsp;RequirementsLeadership &amp; Delivery<ul><li>Proven experience leading architectural teams and delivering built projects</li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage programme, consultants, and budgets effectively</li></ul>&nbsp;Technical Mastery<ul><li>Expert-level proficiency in&nbsp;Revit&nbsp;across the full project lifecycle&nbsp;and train the rest of the team where required</li><li>Strong working knowledge of&nbsp;AutoCAD</li><li>Expert capability in construction detailing</li><li>Proven record of producing&nbsp;high-quality, complete construction drawing packages&nbsp;for realised projects</li></ul>&nbsp;Construction &amp; Site Experience<ul><li>Extensive experience overseeing projects on site from start to finish</li><li>Confident acting independently in complex construction environments</li><li>Practical, solutions-driven approach with strong technical judgment</li></ul>&nbsp;Communication &amp; Authority<ul><li>Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills</li><li>Comfortable managing complex contractor and client relationships</li><li>Clear, confident communicator in high-pressure situations</li></ul>&nbsp;Regulatory Knowledge<ul><li>Strong understanding of current building codes, planning processes, and statutory approvals</li></ul>&nbsp;Ready to Apply?Send your&nbsp;CV to:&nbsp;<a href="mailto:info@skhemagroup.com">info@skhemagroup.com</a>
