Job OverviewThe new member of Food &amp; Beverage department will be responsible for welcoming customers into a restaurant, bar or similar hospitality establishment. Their duties include greeting diners, showing customers to their respective tables and taking bookings over the phone.&nbsp;Main Responsibilities &amp; Duties·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Managing bookings, either in person, over the phone, or online·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Providing waiting times to customers who are not pre-booked·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Creating an appropriate atmosphere for guests that’s in line with the restaurant or bar’s image or branding·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Providing a point of contact for customer feedback and helping to resolve any customer issues·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Providing personalised service and assistance for large parties of guests and VIPs·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are met in the front of house area·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Assisting with the opening and closing of the restaurant·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Learning the food and beverage menu&nbsp;&nbsp;Qualifications &amp; Experience·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Must speak and write Greek and English very well.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Minimum of two years’ experience in Food &amp; Beverage industry.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Proof of experience as a Waiter in a 5 / 4 Star Hotel /Resort·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Holder of an EU passport is essential.&nbsp;Personal Characteristics·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Pleasant and friendly personality, fair, honest reliable and polite.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Very good communication skills.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Working quickly without compromising quality·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to cope under pressure and deliver excellent service results in a high-paced luxury environment.&nbsp;&nbsp;Remuneration package·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Competitive salary according to skills and experience.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Strong collaborative and professional development environment&nbsp;If this sounds like you, please forward your CV to <a href="mailto:hr@straphael.com">hr@straphael.com</a>&nbsp;All applications will be treated with strictly confidence.
