Security Surveillance / Control Room Operators

Main Responsibilities<ul><li>Operate and monitor the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) and surveillance security systems.</li><li>Promptly report any safety, security, or technical matters and create corresponding tickets.</li><li>Efficiently coordinate day-to-day tasks, ensuring they are carried out in a timely and effective manner, following the instructions of the Senior Operator.</li><li>Conduct a comprehensive and thorough handover prior to the commencement of each shift.</li><li>Assist in training new and existing personnel, following the guidance of the Operations Supervisor.</li><li>Provide assistance and support to the department as directed by the Operations Supervisor.</li><li>Assist in investigations as required.</li><li>Possess extensive knowledge and understanding of the prescribed actions to be taken in the event of an incident, following the company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).</li></ul>Key Skills<ul><li>Operational and analytical thinking.</li><li>Attention to detail.</li><li>Knowledge of Maritime Security regulations and procedures.</li><li>Ability to interpret departmental data.</li><li>Ability to support and motivate a team.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Teamwork and collaboration.</li><li>Observant with a high level of concentration.</li><li>Ability to demonstrate practical knowledge and problem-solving strategies.</li></ul>Key Requirements<ul><li>&nbsp;Excellent command of English language both written and verbal.</li><li>Excellent communication and teamwork skills.</li><li>Good understanding of CCTV / Surveillance systems and their operations.</li><li>Good understanding of maritime operations and cargo vessels.</li><li>Proactive, effective solution and problem-solving mindset.</li><li>Ability to observe details, plan, multi-task and manage time effectively.</li><li>Strong capabilities in close monitoring, report compilation, organizing tasks, and efficient record keeping.</li><li>Excellent knowledge and working abilities of Microsoft Office.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>&nbsp;Proven and adequate work experience.</li><li>Relevant Training and minimum 1 year of experience in Maritime Security.</li></ul>What we offer<ul><li>Competitive salary package</li><li>13th salary</li><li>Private Health insurance</li><li>Pension Fund</li><li>Employee Benefit Card</li><li>Complimentary Lunch</li><li>A fast-growing and vibrant company</li><li>Great opportunities for career progression</li><li>Exciting company activities, including team-building outings, corporate gatherings and events</li></ul>
