CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established company active in the field of buying and selling gold and precious metals, we are seeking to recruit an Accountant to join their growing team based in Larnaca. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for a range of duties including issuing sales invoices, reconciling bank accounts, monitoring balances, and more! Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar, and holders of, or those working towards any relevant accounting qualification such as the LCCI Higher or Intermediate are encouraged to apply. You will need to possess approximately 2+ years of experience in a relevant position, with knowledge of accounting software such as Sofia or Cycom considered an advantage, and fluency in both Greek and English is a must.&nbsp;Key Duties/Responsibilities:&nbsp;<ul><li>Issuing sales invoices, checking and registering sales and purchase invoices in an accounting program.</li><li>Updating and reconciling bank accounts (Bank Reconciliations) and cash.</li><li>Monitoring balances, sending account statements and checking receipts and payments.</li><li>Customer service for completing documents for transactions they carry out with the Company (e.g. invoices, contracts, etc.).</li><li>Preparation of balance sheets and cash flow reports for management.</li><li>Preparation of files and data for the submission of VAT tax returns and the closing of the financial year and the conduct of annual audits.</li><li>Communication with customers and other associates of the company.</li></ul>&nbsp;Key Skills/Experience:&nbsp;<ul><li>University Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li><li>Holders of the LCCI Higher or Intermediate certification are encouraged to apply.</li><li>Approximately 2+ years of relevant experience is a must.</li><li>Knowledge of Accounting Programs (e.g. Sofia/Cycom).</li><li>Good knowledge of Greek and English.</li></ul>&nbsp;To apply for this vacancy, please send your CV, along with any covering letter to&nbsp;<a href="mailto:jobs@careerfinders.com.cy">jobs@careerfinders.com.cy</a>&nbsp;quoting the reference number ERG9137.
