Do you thrive in dynamic, commercially driven environments and enjoy working with international clients across industries such as construction, oil &amp; gas, energy, EPC, infrastructure, and mining?If you are looking for a role that leverages your estimating expertise within a software implementation context, this position at Nomitech could be the ideal next step in your career.We are seeking a Cost Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our Implementation Team, supporting the deployment of our industry-leading cost estimating platform, CostOS, across global projects.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Support clients in configuring and structuring their cost estimation frameworks within the CostOS platform, ensuring alignment with their WBS, CBS, and reporting requirements.</li><li>Lead and participate in the full lifecycle of software implementation projects, including:</li></ul>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;–&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Business analysis and estimating requirements gathering&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;–&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Functional specification, estimate template configuration, and cost database setup&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;–&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Testing, user acceptance, training delivery, and post-go-live support<ul><li>Coordinate with internal technical teams and external stakeholders — including project directors and commercial managers — to ensure successful implementation outcomes.</li><li>Proactively identify and resolve project risks and issues, managing multiple client engagements simultaneously across various implementation stages.</li><li>Develop and maintain strong client relationships to support long-term commercial engagement and satisfaction.</li><li>Manage multiple client implementations simultaneously, each at various stages of development.</li><li>Travel internationally as required to deliver on-site implementation, estimating workshops, and user training.</li></ul>&nbsp;Required Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li>Demonstrated experience in Cost Estimating and/or Quantity Surveying within construction, EPC, oil &amp; gas, energy, infrastructure, or mining sectors</li><li>Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline — or equivalent professional experience</li><li>Proficiency in quantity take-off methods, unit rate analysis, and cost breakdown structure (CBS) development</li><li>Strong understanding of estimating standards, project phases, and cost control practices</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to present findings to senior-level stakeholders</li><li>Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (cost models, pivot tables, data analysis)</li><li>Willingness and ability to travel internationally for project needs</li><li>Fulfilled military obligations (for male candidates, where applicable)</li></ul>&nbsp;Preferred Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Hands-on experience with cost estimating software such as CostOS, Candy, Cleopatra, or similar platforms</li><li>Familiarity with BIM technologies (e.g. Revit, Navisworks) and their integration with quantity take-off and cost estimation workflows</li><li>Knowledge of SQL and Python, while not required, is highly desirable and will strengthen a candidate's application</li><li>Professional accreditation or membership with a recognized body (e.g. RICS, AACE, CIOB, or equivalent)</li><li>Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior commercial or project management s takeholders</li><li>Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. PMBoK, Agile) and their interaction with the estimating lifecycle</li><li>Exposure to multi-discipline EPC or EPCM project environments</li></ul>&nbsp;Why Join Us?<ul><li>Flexible working arrangements — hybrid and remote-friendly</li><li>Career growth opportunities working alongside experienced technical and commercial teams</li><li>International exposure — work with global clients on high-profile capital projects</li><li>A collaborative, innovative culture that values initiative, precision, and commercial thinking</li><li>Be part of a market-leading software company shaping the future of cost estimation technology</li></ul>&nbsp;
