Construction Site Supervisors / Foremen

Responsibilities:<ul><li>Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQ) for construction projects. &nbsp;- Monitor project costs, track variations, and prepare interim and final valuations to ensure financial control. &nbsp;- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to resolve cost-related issues and ensure alignment with project goals. &nbsp;- Manage final accounts, including settlement of contractor claims and dispute resolution. &nbsp;- Stay updated on market trends, material costs, and industry best practices in Cyprus. &nbsp;</li><li>Prepare detailed reports for stakeholders on project financial performance and cost forecasts. &nbsp;</li><li>Ensure compliance with Cyprus construction regulations, building codes, and health &amp; safety standards. &nbsp;</li><li>Conduct risk assessments and implement value engineering strategies to optimize project costs. &nbsp;</li><li>Administer contracts, including drafting tender documents, evaluating bids, and negotiating terms with contractors and suppliers. &nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;Requirements:<ul><li>Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. &nbsp;</li><li>Certifications: Membership with the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ΕΤΕΚ) or internationally recognized certifications (e.g., RICS) is a plus.</li><li>Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Cyprus construction laws, tendering processes, and contract types (e.g., FIDIC).</li><li>Soft Skills: Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills; attention to detail; ability to work under pressure. &nbsp;</li><li>Languages: Fluency in English and Greek (written and spoken) is essential. &nbsp;</li><li>Technical Skills: Proficiency in QS software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Project). &nbsp;</li><li>Experience:&nbsp; 5+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the Cyprus construction industry. &nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;Preferred Qualifications&nbsp;<ul><li>Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling). &nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and green building certifications. &nbsp;</li><li>Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or commercial projects in Cyprus. &nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;We offer:<ul><li>Good salary and bonus</li><li>Opportunity for growth and development with professional international team</li><li>21 days paid vacation days per year</li><li>40 working hours paid sick leave days per year</li><li>Public holiday in accordance with the Cyprus Public Holiday list</li></ul>
