Global Logistics Executive – FMCG Sector | Based in LimassolAn established international trading firm active in the FMCG sector is on the lookout for a talented Logistics Executive to lead and enhance its shipping operations on a global scale. If you're a logistics professional with a strong grasp of international trade practices, we encourage you to explore this opportunity.&nbsp;Role Purpose:The ideal candidate will coordinate global inbound and outbound freight operations, maintain accurate shipping schedules, and work actively to minimize logistics costs. Attention to timelines and inventory accuracy is essential.&nbsp;Main Duties:<ul><li>Coordinate and manage global transport operations for goods across various regions.</li><li>Handle freight negotiations with forwarders and transport agents to secure optimal rates and service.</li><li>Compare shipping options by cost, delivery speed, and reliability to select the best approach.</li><li>Track all shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.</li><li>Stay compliant with local port protocols and international trade regulations.</li><li>Control freight budgets, ensure compliance with quality benchmarks, and oversee inventory and logistics performance.</li><li>Resolve any transport delays, quality issues, or shipment discrepancies swiftly and effectively.</li></ul>&nbsp;Candidate Profile:<ul><li>Degree in Logistics, Shipping, Transportation, or a similar field.</li><li>At least 3 years’ hands-on experience in managing international shipments, customs clearance, and logistics coordination.</li><li>Proven track record in working with freight forwarders globally and securing favorable terms.</li><li>Solid negotiation and communication skills, especially in English (both written and spoken).</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.</li><li>Only candidates who meet the above experience criteria will be considered.</li></ul>&nbsp;Key Competencies:<ul><li>Takes initiative and ownership of tasks with a results-driven mindset.</li><li>Skilled at juggling multiple responsibilities, organizing tasks, and meeting tight deadlines.</li></ul>&nbsp;Position Based in:Limassol, CyprusThe company offers a collaborative environment, an expanding international presence, and a competitive remuneration package.
