The Role:&nbsp;On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a passionate and self-motivated professional for the position of Risk Manager, to be based in their office in Nicosia.&nbsp;Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop and maintain the company’s risk management framework, policies, and procedures.</li><li>Identify, assess, and monitor key financial, operational, and compliance risks.</li><li>Monitor client exposures &amp; margin adequacy.</li><li>Review risk limit, capital adequacy and liquidity breaches and escalate where needed.</li><li>Communicate with prime brokers / liquidity providers on collateral &amp; margin.</li><li>Monitor and adhere to the risk appetite framework approved by the board.</li><li>Conduct regular risk assessments and stress testing to evaluate exposures.</li><li>Identify all material risks such as Market risk, Counterparty risk , Liquidity risk, Operational risk etc.</li><li>Provide recommendations for risk mitigation strategies and controls.</li><li>Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., MiFID II, ESMA, CySEC, Basel guidelines).</li><li>Prepare and present regular risk reports to senior management and the Board of Directors.</li><li>Collaborate with Compliance, Finance, Operations, and IT to strengthen internal controls.</li><li>Lead risk awareness training and promote a risk-conscious culture across the organization.</li><li>Act as the main point of contact for risk-related audits and regulatory inspections.</li><li>Monitor daily client, market, liquidity, and counterparty exposures and ensure that risk levels remain within approved limits.</li><li>Review margin utilisation, concentration risk, and large exposures, and escalate material findings where necessary.</li><li>Maintain and periodically review the Company’s Risk Register and ensure appropriate documentation of identified risks and mitigating controls.</li><li>Assist in the preparation and submission of risk-related regulatory reports where required.</li><li>Review new products, business initiatives, and material operational changes from a risk management perspective and provide recommendations prior to implementation.</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications and Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field . Master’s degree will be considered an advantage.</li><li>Professional certifications related to Risk Management (e.
