With a strong and expanding client base, they are looking for a motivated&nbsp;Junior Systems Administrator&nbsp;to join their technical team and grow their career in systems administration.Responsibilities &nbsp;Infrastructure &amp; Systems<ul><li>Assist with the maintenance and monitoring of Linux servers</li><li>Perform routine system updates, patching, and user account management</li><li>Support the configuration and maintenance of core IT services</li></ul>Virtualization &amp; Cloud<ul><li>Help provision and maintain virtual machines</li><li>Assist with backups and basic cloud administration</li><li>Learn and support cloud platforms such as Hetzner and AWS</li></ul>Networking<ul><li>Support the maintenance of routers, firewalls, and VPNs</li><li>Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues</li><li>Assist with LAN, WAN, and VLAN administration</li></ul>Security &amp; Backup<ul><li>Monitor system health and security alerts</li><li>Assist with backup operations and recovery testing</li><li>Apply security updates and follow IT security best practices</li></ul>Monitoring &amp; Automation<ul><li>Monitor infrastructure using monitoring tools</li><li>Respond to alerts and escalate issues when needed</li><li>Assist with simple automation tasks and scripting</li></ul>Support &amp; Operations<ul><li>Provide technical support to users and internal teams</li><li>Help maintain technical documentation</li><li>Assist with infrastructure upgrades, deployments, and migrations</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>1–2 years of experience in Systems Administration, IT Support, or a similar technical role (internships or apprenticeships are also considered)</li><li>Basic knowledge of Linux administration</li><li>Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, VPNs)</li><li>Familiarity with virtualization concepts (Proxmox, VMware, or Hyper-V is a plus)</li><li>Basic knowledge of routers and firewalls</li><li>Willingness to learn scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell)</li><li>Basic understanding of Windows Server environments</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills</li><li>Good communication skills and a willingness to learn in a collaborative environment</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Welcoming and friendly working environment in Limassol</li><li>Structured onboarding and mentorship from experienced Systems Administrators</li><li>Ongoing training and sponsored professional certifications</li><li>Snacks and beverages in the office</li><li>Weekly lunch</li><li>Bonus appraisal every 6 months to recognize your contributions</li><li>21 days of annual leave to support work-life balance</li><li>Gym membership and breakfast in the office</li><li>Salary based on experience</li></ul>Kick-start your career in Systems Administration with a growing technology company!
