DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Supervises and is responsible for all actions and tasks performed by Line Cooks B' and C' (Demi Chef de Partie and Commis) and, if necessary, performs part of their duties.</li><li>Coordinates and trains Line Cooks B' and C' or assistants (commis) assigned to their station.</li><li>Applies predetermined standard recipes for all dishes and prepares food with accuracy, consistent taste, and proper presentation.</li><li>Ensures the timely preparation of food.</li><li>Knows, maintains, and ensures the correct application of all food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP).</li><li>Checks product stock within their area of responsibility and ensures the correct application of FIFO (First In - First Out) and FEFO (First Expired – First Out) procedures.</li><li>Completes and submits orders for required products to the Sous Chef on time, contributing to the seamless operation of the department.</li><li>Keeps their workspace organized and tidy.</li><li>Immediately reports any breakdown or malfunction of machinery and equipment, informing the kitchen team via the designated communication group (Viber).</li><li>Implements the internal operating rules of the hotel based on the employee handbook.</li><li>Informs hotel management about incidents, observations, and developments affecting customers, hotel operations, and their specific job position.</li><li>Reports any wear, damage, or breakage to buffet equipment, as well as utensils and dish presentation items, to ensure timely replacement or repair.</li></ul>JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCIES<ul><li>Graduate of a Secondary Hotel/Culinary School with a specialization in cooking.</li><li>Three years of experience in a similar position.</li><li>Time management skills, attention to detail, and adaptability.</li><li>Communication skills and teamwork for smooth collaboration with other departments.</li><li>Pleasant personality.</li><li>Essential knowledge of the English language</li></ul>
