About UsWe're a growing accounting firm based in Larnaca, we combine solid technical foundations with a modern, forward-thinking way of working, and we're looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our team and grow with us.&nbsp;The RoleAs a Junior Accountant, you'll work closely with our accounting team from day one — not just data entry. You'll gain broad exposure to the day-to-day work of the profession.&nbsp;You'll be involved in:<ul><li>Preparing and maintaining general ledgers and financial records</li><li>Ensure maintenance of proper books of accounts in accordance with legislation of Cyprus and IFRS</li><li>Bank, suppliers and customer reconciliations</li><li>Preparation of reports as requested by Financial Controller</li><li>Assist the Financial Controller in the smooth operation of the finance department by undertaking tasks upon request</li></ul>What We're Looking For·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 1+ years’ experience as a Bookkeeper/Accountant·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; LCCI Certificate or Degree in Accounting and Finance or any other relevant field·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Time management and ability to work under pressure and within deadliness·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Keen attention to detail and produce work with a high level of accuracy·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Fluency in English and Greek languages·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Proficient in Microsoft Excel·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Good communication skills·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Knowledge of accounting software Cycom – Sofia will be considered an advantage&nbsp;What We Offer<ul><li>Hands-on training and mentorship from experienced professionals</li><li>Dynamic but friendly working environment, in which you can develop your skills, competencies and grow together with the firm</li><li>Strong focus on work life balance</li><li>Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience</li><li>Flexible working hours</li></ul>
