Accountants

Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Ensure complete, accurate, and up-to-date accounting records.</li><li>Calculate payroll and related tax obligations.</li><li>Maintain vendor master data, including bank details, and perform regular vendor reconciliations.</li><li>Conduct monthly bank reconciliations.</li><li>Prepare financial reports and analyses as required.</li><li>Supervise accounting records prepared by subordinates, including accounts receivable and payable.</li><li>Contribute to the design, documentation, and implementation of accounting processes and procedures.</li><li>Support the implementation and optimization of accounting software.</li><li>Assist the Senior Accountant in preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS.</li><li>Collaborate with auditors during the financial statement audit process.</li></ul>Qualifications and Requirements:<ul><li>University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience in Cyprus; experience in the real estate or development industry is preferred but not mandatory.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.</li><li>Knowledge of E-soft accounting software will be considered an advantage.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Cyprus taxation, including VAT, Corporate Income Tax, and Payroll taxes.</li><li>Fluency in both Greek and English is essential; knowledge of Russian will be considered an advantage.</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>A competitive salary package.</li><li>An exciting opportunity to be part of a growing, innovative international school.</li><li>A collaborative and supportive work environment.</li><li>Opportunities for professional development and growth as the school expands.</li><li>A possible hybrid work arrangement after the successful completion of the probation period.</li></ul>If you are a dedicated and detail-oriented accounting professional looking for a meaningful role in a dynamic educational setting, we encourage you to apply via <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://isl.bamboohr.com/careers/204?source=aWQ9Mjc%3D">LINK</a>&nbsp;Safeguarding: At The Island Private School of Limassol, we follow safer recruitment practices and we are committed to the Safeguarding of our students.
