Visual Voices programs are designed for young visual artists interested in developing or continuing with socially engaged artistic practices. Our methodology is built around three key pillars: artist in residence programs, non-commercial platforms of expression, and community partnerships. Together these elements create space for dialogue and new perspectives around pressing social challenges.
Our current programs are focused on building strong connections between the creative/ cultural + civil society sectors, and strengthening integration paths for artists coming from a migrant background. Throughout these programs, key social issues are addressed through creativity and the arts.
Community peacebuilding has always been at the center of Visual Voices and this is represented throughout all of our programs, which aim to bring together communities from across the island.
