As part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection, we embody a distinctive character and personalised service, creating authentic and memorable experiences for every guest.This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our next chapter and shape the guest experience in one of the island’s most iconic hospitality settings.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Manages day-to-day operations, ensures the quality, standards and meets the expectations of the customers daily.</li><li>Displays leadership in guest hospitality, exemplifies excellent customer service and creates a positive atmosphere for guest relations.</li><li>Identifies the developmental needs of others and coaches, mentors, or otherwise helps others to improve their knowledge or skills.</li><li>Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish teamwork.</li><li>Maintains service and sanitation standards in restaurant, bar/lounge and room service areas.</li><li>Reviews staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met.</li><li>Provides the leadership, vision and direction to bring together and prioritize the departmental goals in a way that will be efficient and effective.</li><li>Ensures compliance with all food &amp; beverage policies, standards and procedures by training, supervising, follow-up and hands on management.</li><li>Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.</li><li>Ensures compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.</li><li>Meets with guests on an informal basis during meals or upon departure to obtain feedback on quality of food and beverage, service levels and overall satisfaction.</li><li>Ensures corrective action is taken to continuously improve service results.</li><li>Incorporates guest satisfaction as a component of departmental meetings with a focus on continuous improvement.&nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications &amp; Experience&nbsp;<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a hospitality-related field</li><li>Minimum of 3–5 years experience in a similar Food &amp; Beverage Managerial role within a 4- or 5-star hotel or equivalent hospitality environment</li><li>Prior experience with hotel pre-opening projects is preferred</li><li>Background in Marriott brand standards and operations is highly valued</li><li>Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken</li><li>Outstanding communication and organizational skills</li><li>Proven ability to drive change, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and enhance operational efficiency</li><li>Strong working knowledge of general restaurant operations, including personnel management</li><li>Demonstrated leadership, team management, and staff development abilities</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook</li><li>Solid experience with Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS)</li><li>Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to guest satisfaction</li></ul>How to Apply Please submit your CV outlining your interest and suitability for the role to <a href="mailto:careers@thelandmarknicosia.com">careers@thelandmarknicosia.com</a>, with subject: “Restaurant General Manager” by 31/05/2025.&nbsp;&nbsp;Thank you for considering this opportunity and for taking the time to apply.&nbsp;While we appreciate all applications, only those selected for further consideration will be contacted.
