We are seeking a detail-oriented &nbsp;Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. This position requires proficiency in MS Office while, familiarity with SAGE accounting software will be considered a significant advantage. Previous experience in technical industry is also highly desirable.

Job Description:

<ul><li>Assist in day-to-day accounting operations, including managing accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and expense reporting.</li><li>Reconcile bank statements and assist with month-end closing procedures.</li><li>Prepare and process financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.</li><li>Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audit purposes.</li><li>Collaborate with the finance team to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.</li><li>Support the team with administrative tasks as required.</li></ul>

The role:

<ul><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting assistant or similar position.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).</li><li>Excellent verbal and written use of Greek and English.</li><li>Previous experience with SAGE accounting software is a distinct advantage.</li><li>LCCI qualification or equivalent accounting qualification preferred but not essential.</li><li>Experience in a technical industry (construction, automotive) is a plus.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Good communication skills and a professional attitude.</li></ul>
