Iacovou Group, one of the most reputable and established Construction Groups in Cyprus and Abroad, seeks to recruit an experienced and high caliber professional for the position of Payroll Officer Assistant.&nbsp;Job Purpose:The incumbent holding this position is accountable to compile, process and record employee time and payroll data, as well as input job costing data under the instructions and supervision of the Payroll Supervisor.&nbsp;Responsibilities:<ul><li>&nbsp;The successful candidate will accountable to compile, process and record employee time and payroll data, as well as hold responsibility for analysing job costing data for cross-charging purposes between the various companies of the Group.</li><li>Ensures timely and accurate completion of the payroll processing, both for weekly and monthly staff</li><li>Ensures timely collection and analysis of employee timesheets.</li><li>Completes checks for any benefits/payments due as per the timesheets, e.g. overtime, various allowances, etc.</li><li>Verifies attendance, hours worked and pay adjustments and maintains an accurate record of payroll data</li><li>Prepares timely and accurate payroll reporting information, as required by the management of the company</li><li>Records employee information, such as exemptions, transfers, and resignations, to maintain and update payroll records</li><li>Issues and records adjustments to pay related errors or retrospective increases</li><li>Collects the sick leave forms issued to sick employees and records them onto the payroll system for the particular employee</li><li>Provides information to employees and managers on payroll matters, tax issues and benefit plans</li><li>Prepares and balances period-end reports, and reconciles issued payrolls</li><li>Compiles the necessary reports, statements, and summaries related to pay and benefits accounts, and submit them</li></ul>&nbsp;Specific Requirements:<ul><li>&nbsp;At least 2 years of experience in a position with similar responsibilities</li><li>Experience of payroll and knowledge of Collective Agreements in the Construction Industry would be an advantage</li><li>Experience using Payroll Software</li><li>Knowledge of the Cyprus Employment and Social Insurance Law</li></ul>&nbsp;Key Competencies:<ul><li>Planning and organization skills</li><li>Analytical and numerical skills</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>High level of integrity and dependability</li><li>Results oriented</li><li>Teamwork and collaboration skills</li><li>Computer literacy</li><li>Excellent command of the Greek and English language, both verbal and written</li></ul>Remuneration:&nbsp;A competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate, according to qualifications and experience.
