• ensure quality, portion, and presentation standards are met;
•  assist in menu planning and daily specials when needed; 
• maintain a clean and organised workstation;
•  comply with food safety and hygiene regulations; 
• collaborate with the kitchen team for smooth service;
•  train and supervise commis chefs; 
• ensure smooth kitchen operations under the guidance of the executive chef
