An opportunity has arisen for a Bookkeeper to join our Finance Team in Nicosia.
Main Responsibilities
Ensuring that all financial information is recorded in a complete, accurate and timely manner
Maintaining proper accounting records
Verifying and recording invoices from suppliers
Ensuring that invoices to customers are issued complete and in a timely manner
Recording and checking company bank statements
Conducting regular bank reconciliations
Dealing with financial paperwork and filing
Assisting team members, managers and financial controllers regarding ad-hoc requests and preparation of management reports
General administrative work in relation to the position
Requirements
LCCI Higher Certificate in Accounting and/or relevant Bachelor degree
Prior experience in a similar position
Good analytical skills and dealing with numbers
Ability to work under pressure and meet targets/deadlines
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Energetic and positive team player with strong organizational skills
Microsoft Office package proficiency
Proficiency in Greek and English (verbal and written)
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 & E-soft accounting software will be considered an advantage
Knowledge of local VAT, Tax and Social Insurance legislations will be considered an advantage
