CX Financia is a Nicosia-based firm providing corporate, fiduciary, tax and regulatory compliance services to Cypriot and international clients. Our work covers company formation and administration, bookkeeping, VAT and payroll, and CySEC licensing for investment firms, funds and crypto-asset service providers. The Role
We are looking for an experienced, organised and reliable Bookkeeper / Accounts Officer to join our team. You'll take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients and support the corporate administration side of the business.
This role suits someone with a solid bookkeeping background who wants to broaden their experience across tax, corporate services and international clients in a professional environment.
What You'll Do
- Maintain the books for a portfolio of clients, recording invoices, receipts and payments accurately and on time.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and reconcile debtor and creditor accounts.
- Prepare and support VAT returns and VIES submissions.
- Handle payroll and related Social Insurance submissions.
- Prepare bank account application forms and liaise with banks on behalf of clients.
- Communicate with clients, government departments and other organisations.
- Support the corporate administration of the company and its clients.
- Maintain well-organised electronic and physical filing systems.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
What We're Looking For
- A degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- At least 2 years' experience in bookkeeping, preferably in an accounting or corporate services firm.
- A good working knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and reconciliations.
- Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong attention to detail and good numerical skills.
- The ability to manage your own workload, prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Good communication skills and a professional, client-facing manner.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Discretion and respect for confidentiality.
Considered an Advantage
- Hands-on experience preparing and submitting VAT returns and VIES.
- Experience processing payroll and Social Insurance contributions.
- Familiarity with Logisoft.
- The ability to read and understand financial statements, and knowledge of IAS/IFRS.
- Experience dealing with banks and government departments in Cyprus.
