CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a global provider of Professional Services with offices across Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a number of ACA/ACCA Trainees to join their growing Audit Team based in Limassol. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in relevant field of study, with a final grade of 2:1 or equivalent. You will need to hold the ambition and motivation to become a qualified ACA/ACCA accountant, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with fluency in both Greek and English. Successful candidates will be provided training contracts to train and become either chartered accountants (ACA) or chartered certified accountants (ACCA) depending on their academic background and preference. Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Carrying out client acceptance and risk assessment procedures.
• Understanding the client’s business.
• Identifying risk matters and planning audit work.
• Execution of audit and other assurance work.
• Preparing tax computations.
• Preparing reports.
• Build your technical knowledge and skills and ensure your professional development paying proper attention to passing your professional exams.
• Build your soft skills that you will use to assist in the development of others within the firm and eventually in the firm’s business.

 

Key Skills/Experience:

• University degree with grade 2:1 or equivalent in a relevant field of study.
• Ambition and motivation to become a qualified ACA/ACCA accountant.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages.
• Genuine interest in business.
