The role
As a member of our Accounting team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting financial reporting and compliance processes. The role requires hands-on experience with QuickBooks, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update accounting records in QuickBooks
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations (VAT, etc.).
Assist in audits and liaise with external auditors and consultants.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Support financial reporting requirements for EU-funded projects (if applicable).
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 3–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and good proficiency in MS Office.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Team collaboration and interpersonal skills.
Advantage:
