M.P. Princess Yachts (Cyprus) Ltd, official distributor of Princess Yachts for Cyprus is seeking to recruit a passionate, creative and talented person as an Accountant.

Main duties and responsibilities:

-          Bookkeeping and recording of transactions in the accounting software

-          Timely processing of supplier’s invoices and payment preparations

-          Preparing payments to vendors and suppliers, coordinating with relevant departments to ensure accuracy

-          Bank reconciliations

-          Creditors reconciliations

-          Accurately record all financial transactions

-          Processing payroll accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with payroll

-          Generate and issue invoices to clients promptly and accurately reflecting our services

-          Liaising with the auditors

-          Assist in tax preparations and filing of VAT and other statutory returns

-          Assist in the preparation of management reports (i.e. cash flow reports) and any other ad hoc reports requested

-          Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual financial report

Skills:

-          Fully computer literate with Microsoft Office skills

-          Have knowledge of Premier Soft financial software is considered as an advantage

-          Knowledge of the VAT/Income Tax/Social Insurance laws of Cyprus

-          Pleasant personality

-          High level of discretion, confidentiality and integrity

-          Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

-          Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills

-          Exceptional communication and interpretational abilities

-          Initiative and problem-solving skills

-          Energetic, self-motivated and positive to work as a member of a team

Education & Experience:

-          Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

-          At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar accounting role.

-          Excellent command of English and Greek language both written and verbal. Knowledge of any other language will be considered as an advantage.

A remuneration package of up to gross €33.000 per year (inclusive 13th salary) will be offered to the successful candidate, depending on qualifications and experience, plus other benefits.
