Accountant

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

We are seeking a proactive, diligent, reliable, and self-motivated professional who can adapt to changing priorities and contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes.

 Main Duties and Responsibilities:

•              Perform bookkeeping and maintain accounting records.

•              Conduct bank, debtors, creditors, stock and other reconciliations.

•              Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts.

•              Assist with external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

•              Assist in the preparation of budgets, cash flow, and other related reports

•              Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

•              Monitor and report on financial discrepancies, variances, and ability to solve issues and provide recommendations

•              Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

•              Ad hoc tasks as required

  Qualifications & Experience

•              Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

•              AAT or LCCI Higher will be considered an advantage.

•              Experience as an Accountant-Bookkeeper. At least two years of experience with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and general ledger management

•              Familiarity with accounting software and reporting standards

•              Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

•              Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

•              Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

•              Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

•              Pleasant personality and professionalism 

•              Holder of EU working permit
