We are seeking a reliable, organised and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing law firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the firm's day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting, VAT and tax requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily bookkeeping and accounting operations.
• Prepare and issue invoices, monitor outstanding payments and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare VAT returns and assist with tax compliance and statutory obligations.
• Assist with financial statements, management reports and cash-flow monitoring.
• Liaise with external auditors, banks, tax advisors and relevant authorities.
• Maintain proper records of client transactions and company-related expenses.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with the firm's internal financial procedures.

Requirements

• Degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Previous experience in an accounting role.
• Good knowledge of Cyprus accounting, VAT and tax requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and time management.
• Fluency in Greek and English.
• Previous experience in a law firm or professional services environment will be considered an advantage.
