Our client is an established and reputable professional services firm based in Cyprus, providing a comprehensive range of services tailored to meet diverse client needs.

• Working Hours: Monday–Thursday 08:00–17:00, Friday 08:00–14:00 (afternoon off)

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain journal and account entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles (GAAP) and internal policies.
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Process invoices, bills, expense reports, and payments, ensuring proper documentation and authorization.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis by gathering financial data and analyzing trends.
• Assist with tax filings, audits, and compliance documentation.
• Provide support to senior accountants or accounting managers, including workload distribution and quality review of peers’ work.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial transactions.
• Maintain fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, and inventory tracking

Requirements 

• College/University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or any other relevant field.
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and results oriented.
• Diligent, methodical, devoted and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• A team player with pleasant personality.
• Fluency in both Greek and English, both oral and written.
