Qualifications:

 

• University Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

• LCCI Higher or equivalent qualification

• Relevant experience, preferably with a medium or large size contracting company will be considered an advantage.

• Excellent knowledge of Accounting Principles and VAT

• Knowledge of Navision will be considered an advantage

• Excellent Knowledge of MS Office

• Fluency in Greek English, both verbal and written

• Excellent communication, organizational skills

• Pleasant personality, professionalism and able to work under strict deadlines

 

Job Description:

• Responsible for maintaining accurate accounting books and records for the companies of the Group

• Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded

• Recording of invoices, receipts, payments and preparing monthly bank reconciliations

• Preparation of Debtor/Creditors reconciliation

• Liaise with the Company's and Group's internal and external auditors

• Perform and execute the monthly / weekly payroll calculations (including all the relevant submissions to the local authorities).

• Preparing quarterly VAT reconciliation and submitting VAT returns

• Regular reporting to the Senior Manager about status, progress and completion of accounting work
