What You'll Be Doing

As an Accounting & Audit Assistant, you will support both our accounting and audit teams and gain exposure to a wide variety of assignments and industries.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and compilation files
• Supporting the maintenance and review of accounting records
• Assisting in audit engagements and performing audit procedures
• Analysing financial information and investigating discrepancies
• Preparing working papers and audit documentation
• Communicating with clients and colleagues to obtain information and supporting documentation
• Supporting year-end reporting processes
• Developing your technical accounting, audit, and business knowledge through practical experience

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or final-year student) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken
• Knowledge of Dutch is an advantage, but not essential
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good attention to detail
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and organisational skills
