Key Requirements

• Strong engineering and computer-science foundation, including software architecture, backend/frontend development, databases, APIs, integrations, and deployment practices.
• Practical experience using advanced AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar tools to accelerate planning, coding, debugging, refactoring, and documentation.
• Ability to manage complex development projects end to end, from requirements and technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, documentation, and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, AI APIs, model evaluation, and AI system limitations.
• Ability to translate business and product needs into clear technical solutions and deliver working software with minimal supervision.
• Strong ownership mindset, with the ability to work independently, make responsible technical decisions, and drive tasks to completion.
• Ability to validate AI-generated work, identify risks, and ensure that AI-assisted development does not reduce code quality, maintainability, or security.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Data Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience, preferably with exposure to AI/ML, data pipelines, automation, or intelligent systems.
• Strong Python experience and familiarity with at least one modern backend/frontend technology stack.
• Experience working with APIs, databases, authentication, deployment pipelines, version control, and production environments.
• Familiarity with AI frameworks, LLM APIs, vector databases, evaluation workflows, and model integration.
• Experience using AI coding assistants or agentic development tools as part of daily engineering work.
• Strong documentation, communication, and technical explanation skills.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AI-powered applications, internal tools, automation systems, and intelligent product features.
• Lead development tasks from concept to production, including technical planning, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
• Use advanced AI tools to accelerate development while maintaining code quality, security, reliability, and maintainability.
• Build integrations with LLMs, AI APIs, machine-learning models, vector databases, and internal/external data sources.
• Create clear technical specifications, implementation plans, and documentation that can be used by both humans and AI coding agents.
• Evaluate AI outputs, validate model behavior, define guardrails, and ensure responsible use of AI in production systems.
• Collaborate with product, R&D, QA, DevOps, and management to convert business goals into working technical solutions.
• Continuously improve development workflows by adopting modern AI-assisted engineering practices.
• Review, debug, and refactor AI-generated or human-written code before production use.
• Monitor production AI systems for performance, accuracy, cost, latency, failures, and user impact.
