FBME Bank Ltd (Cyprus Branch) - under liquidation, is currently recruiting and AML & KYC Officer in Nicosia, for the Review of Depositors’ Claims Team.
Requirements
University Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics/Law or a related field, or with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role (AML/KYC/CDD) is required.
Relevant qualifications (e.g. Cysec AML) will be considered as an advantage.
Sound knowledge of current laws, regulations and common practices in AML.
Experience in using electronic AML systems (e.g. World-Checks) is required.
Computer literate with a strong knowledge of MS office.
Ability to display a high degree of confidentiality and discretion.
Excellent command of the English and Greek languages.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and professional skills.
The Role
Examining AML/KYC documentation and due diligence documents that are submitted by depositors supporting their Proof of Debt Claims to the Liquidator.
Examining AML/KYC documentation and due diligence documents that are filed in FBME’s depositors’ files.
Performing due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) on depositors and their related parties.
Evaluating depositors’ and their related parties’ economic profile and financial transactions.
Participating in meetings relating to the depositors’ KYC and CDD.
Participating in Review of Depositors’ Claims meetings.
Preparing review reports, documentation, and correspondence, related to the AML/KYC examination.
Performing any other required work within the scope of the Liquidation.
