Themis Portfolio Management Limited is seeking to recruit on behalf of Altia an Architect at our office in Nicosia.
Responsibilities:
Conduct site visits to identify any discrepancies or illegalities in relation to approved permit drawings.
Liaise with relevant authorities, including Planning Departments and Municipalities, to follow up on and expedite the issuance of permits.
Collaborate and coordinate with external consultants throughout project phases.
Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality, innovative, and functional design solutions.
Facilitate the removal of prohibitions and restrictions from title deeds and oversee the legalisation process of assets.
Visit properties and define the proposed scope of works in coordination with the Asset Management Team.
Prepare detailed drawings and technical specifications in accordance with the agreed scope of works.
Monitor ongoing construction works, ensuring adherence to approved budgets and timelines.
Ensure all works comply with relevant standards, building codes, regulatory guidelines, and safety regulations.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or any other related field
At least 5 years of previous experience
Master’s degree would be considered an advantage
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and software programs such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Newforma etc.
Strong creative and visualization skills
Be open-minded and ability to think out of the box
Deep knowledge of the building codes and the current industry’s regulations, rules, and standards
Ability to take responsibility and manage workload
Strong interpersonal, organization, communication and team working skills
Excellent command of the Greek and English language, written and spoken
