Our client is seeking to recruit a skilled and motivated Automations Engineer to join its technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and improving automation systems, programming PLCs, and ensuring the smooth operation of production processes and equipment.
Main Responsibilities
Implement new equipment into existing production processes and automation systems.
Modify and improve automation logic based on production and operational requirements.
Identify and resolve issues related to automation systems, including sensors, actuators, analysers, and control software.
Write, test, and debug programs for controllers and interfaces with other subsystems.
Develop and maintain PLC code and HMI systems using Siemens Simatic PCS7.
Develop and maintain PLC code and HMI systems using Siemens TIA Portal.
Prepare production and process reports using the existing reporting systems.
Collaborate with technical and production teams to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or another relevant field with specialisation in Software Programming.
Knowledge of control systems and sensors.
Experience with Siemens PLC programming.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Additional Qualifications (considered an advantage)
Knowledge of additional programming languages.
Remuneration & Benefits
Salary range of €2,000 – €2,500 gross x 14
Provident Fund 8%
Overtime
Transportation provided to and from the company
Working hours: Monday – Friday, 07:00 – 15:00
