Position Overview:
If you are already in Cyprus, we are seeking a Back Office Assistant to support the smooth operation of our forex business. The role involves processing client account documentation, monitoring deposits and withdrawals, assisting with KYC and compliance checks, and maintaining accurate transaction records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced financial environment.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand and follow the company’s internal policies and procedures in carrying out daily responsibilities.
- Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal company processes and procedures.
- Perform AML, KYC, and customer documentation checks, both manually and using the tools provided by the company.
- Monitor movements in customer bank accounts and PSPs, download statements and reports, and follow up on issues with payment gateways, payment service providers, banks, or technical teams as necessary.
- Communicate professionally with the company’s service providers and partners regarding matters related to back-office operations.
- Maintain accurate record-keeping and documentation filing within the back-office systems.
- Prepare and submit back-office reports for internal, external, and regulatory purposes.
- Reconcile, on a daily basis, client balances with the company’s balances recorded in the company’s software, in coordination with the accounting department.
- Provide high-quality customer service, both internally and externally.
- Assist with any other duties as required by management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree.
- Prior experience working in financial services (1–2 years).
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Organized, methodical, and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to perform well under pressure.
- Disciplined, accurate, and detail-oriented.
- Team player with a sociable and pleasant personality.
- Willing to learn and take initiative.
- Diplomatic and professional in communication.

Working Hours: 08:30-17:00.
