Position: Barista
Location: Limassol Center
Job Type: Full Time positions available
Salary: €1350 - €1650 (Gross for full time positions)
Hours: 8 Hours Shifts
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages including but not limited to espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, and iced drinks.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of all menu items, including understanding coffee bean varieties, brewing methods, and the ability to explain menu offerings to customers with enthusiasm and detail.
Operate and maintain all coffee equipment with care, ensuring it is clean and functional.
Manage the point of sale system, handle cash and card transactions with accuracy, and ensure proper billing.
Provide exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming and friendly cafe environment.
Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the cafe, including preparation areas, customer seating areas etc.
Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance coffee knowledge and barista skills.
Work collaboratively with the rest of the team to meet the cafe’s goals and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role preferred.
Passion for coffee and enthusiasm to learn about coffee preparation and trends.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage positively with customers and team members.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Availability to work on weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
