Overview:
We are looking for a Business/System Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, analyse processes, create and document the requirements. AEON is a growing business, and the Business Analysis function is an important part of successful delivery! The ideal candidate combines strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and a deep understanding of business operations and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse and document business requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and clear documentation.
- Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Support project teams in planning, development, testing, and implementation phases.
- Maintain clear documentation
Key Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role in IT
- Strong requirements documentation skills (BRD/FRD), user stories, acceptance criteria, and process modelling (BPMN/UML).
- Ability to translate business needs into clear functional requirements for Engineering and QA; manage scope and priorities.
- Strong stakeholder communication: workshops, elicitation, documentation, and sign-off management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years’ experience as a Business/System Analyst in payments (card processing, issuing/acquiring, bank/EMI payments, POS/merchant acquiring).
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Working knowledge of SQL (ability to write queries).
- Certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile certifications is a plus.
