ABOUT THE COMPANY

Mitsides Public Company Limited is a leading Cyprus-based publicly listed group with a proud heritage in flour milling and pasta production, as well as the import and distribution of raw materials for the confectionery and bakery industries. As we continue to grow and innovate, we are seeking a talented Business Analyst to help drive data-informed decision-making across our operations.

JOB PURPOSE

The Business Analyst will bridge the gap between business needs and analytical solutions. The role focuses on analysing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, producing actionable insights through data analysis and reporting, and supporting the Company’s continuous improvement agenda.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Analysis & Strategy

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare management reports, dashboards, and executive presentations for the CFO.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses to support business cases for proposed process changes or investments.

Financial & Operational Support

• Support the CFO in financial modelling, budgeting, variance analysis, and scenario planning using advanced analytical tools.
• Analyse market data, competitive intelligence, and industry trends to inform commercial and operational strategy.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

• Facilitate workshops, presentations, and training sessions to promote data literacy and a data-driven culture within the organisation.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the IT/technology team to ensure solutions meet operational needs.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a closely related discipline (required).
• Master’s Degree in Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field (desirable but not essential).
• Professional certifications in business analysis or project management are a plus.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Essential Requirements

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar analytical role, preferably within the FMCG, manufacturing, or food production sector.

Analytical Skills:

Advanced proficiency in data analysis, statistical methods, and visualisation tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).

Technology:

Proficient with modern productivity and analytics tools, including AI-powered features (e.g., Power BI Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Claude). Willingness to adopt new tools as they become available.

ERP Knowledge:

Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Communication:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English.

Soft Skills:

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving, with the ability to translate complex data into accessible business language for non-technical stakeholders.

Compensation and Benefits 

• Monthly gross salary in the range of €1,600-€2,500 based on qualifications and experience
• 13th salary and Provident Fund
