On behalf of our client, an innovative and rapidly growing AI technology company, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to lead its commercial expansion in the Greek market.
The company develops advanced AI-powered communication solutions that enable businesses to automate customer interactions, enhance operational efficiency, and generate valuable business insights. As part of its strategic growth plan, the company is expanding its B2B presence across Greece, offering innovative AI Voice solutions to organizations seeking digital transformation.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven professional with an established network in the Healthcare and Retail sectors, who is passionate about technology and eager to play a key role in the growth of an ambitious AI startup.
Role Overview
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth across Greece by identifying new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and developing long-term client relationships. Working independently while collaborating closely with the leadership team, you will introduce AI Voice solutions to organizations, manage the full sales cycle, and contribute directly to the company's market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's B2B commercial strategy across Greece
- Identify and engage prospective clients, with a primary focus on the Healthcare and Retail sectors
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and industry stakeholders
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing
- Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and outbound activities
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and business networking forums
- Collaborate with internal teams to prepare tailored proposals and customer presentations
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurately forecast business opportunities
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
- Provide valuable commercial feedback to support product development and business strategy
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Account Management, or Strategic Partnerships
- Proven success in selling technology, SaaS, AI, telecommunications, or enterprise software solutions
- Established professional network and strong industry connections within the Healthcare and Retail sectors in Greece
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong commercial mindset with a proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a fast-paced startup environment
- Passion for technology, artificial intelligence, and innovation
- Excellent command of both Greek and English
- Based in Athens with the ability to attend client meetings and networking events
