Job Summary: The cashier is responsible for providing fast, friendly, and accurate service to customers. This role involves taking orders, handling payments, and ensuring a smooth front-counter experience in a busy pizza shop environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers in a polite and welcoming manner
Take customer orders accurately
Processing payments cash and credit card
Answer questions about menu items, deals, and promotions
Maintain cleanliness of the counter and customer area
Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are correct and timely
Package food orders properly for takeaway and delivery
Follow food safety and hygiene standards
Requirements:
Good communication and customer service skills
Good knowledge of Greek and English
Basic math and cash-handling ability
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Team player with a positive attitude
Working shifts in the evenings and on weekends
Previous experience is a plus but not always required
