Leonardo Boutique Hotel Venetian Nicosia is dedicated to providing guests with a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. The Chambermaid plays a vital role in maintaining the hotel’s high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.

Job Summary:

The Chambermaid is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure a spotless and safe environment. The role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain guest rooms according to hotel standards, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing furniture.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, replenish amenities, towels, and toiletries.
• Ensure that all guest rooms are tidy, organized, and in excellent condition for guest arrivals.
• Maintain cleanliness in hallways, lobbies, stairwells, and other public areas.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the Head Housekeeper or maintenance team.
• Handle laundry, ironing, and folding linens when required.
• Follow proper procedures for handling lost and found items.
• Assist in the setup of rooms for VIP guests or special events.
• Maintain housekeeping carts and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.
• Observe all health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
• Ensure compliance with the hotel’s environmental and sustainability practices.
• Cooperate with other departments to meet guest needs efficiently.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management related to housekeeping.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in housekeeping or hotel room service preferred.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift supplies as needed.
• Pleasant, professional, and service-oriented personality.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Good communication skills in Greek and/or English.
