We are looking for an experienced Compliance Officer to join our office in Limassol.

Requirements

• Degree in Law, Business, International Relations, Accounting, Audit, or a related field.
• 4-7 years of experience in Compliance, AML/KYC, Sanctions, or Trade Controls.
• Knowledge of OFAC, EU, and UK/OFSI sanctions frameworks.
• Experience with KYC, due diligence, and risk assessments.
• Familiarity with screening tools such as World-Check, Dow Jones, SeaSearcher, or similar.
• Understanding of AML, Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABAC), and compliance controls.
• Internal audit or controls testing experience will be considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.

Key Responsibilities 

• Conduct KYC, due diligence, and beneficial ownership reviews for clients, suppliers, and crew.
• Perform sanctions and trade control screening for counterparties, vessels, and voyages.
• Review complex ownership structures and assess compliance risks.
• Maintain and improve compliance screening processes and systems.
• Support conflict-of-interest, gifts & hospitality, and anti-corruption compliance activities.
• Monitor regulatory developments and provide compliance guidance to the business.
• Assist with compliance training, awareness initiatives, and policy implementation.
• Support compliance matters relating to corporate transactions and business projects.
• Prepare compliance reports and maintain accurate records.
