Cook A/B – Cold Kitchen & Sandwich Preparation

Location: Pafos, Cyprus

Our established bakery is growing, and we are looking for motivated and reliable Cook A/B professionals to join our team, specialising in cold food preparation and sandwich production.

Cook A/B – Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble a variety of sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other cold food items.
• Prepare and portion ingredients, including vegetables, cheeses, cold cuts, sauces, and fillings.
• Ensure all products are prepared according to recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards.
• Maintain consistency in product quality, freshness, and appearance.
• Monitor ingredient freshness, stock levels, and product rotation using FIFO principles.
• Ensure proper storage, labelling, and temperature control of food items.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic workstation throughout the shift.
• Follow food safety procedures and comply with hygiene regulations.
• Assist with daily preparation, stock replenishment, and minimising food waste.
• Work efficiently with colleagues to meet daily production requirements.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a kitchen, cold food preparation, sandwich production, or a similar role is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy food production environment.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow recipes, preparation guidelines, and instructions.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• Food Hygiene certification is an advantage.
