FRACTAL NETWORX is seeking an experienced Electrical & Electronics Engineer to own schematic design, multilayer PCB layout, prototyping, validation, and debugging for radio and mixed-signal applications. The successful candidate will integrate analog, digital, and RF circuitry into robust, manufacturable hardware, with particular attention to external I/O protection, signal integrity, and EMC compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Design analog, digital, and RF circuits and integrate them into mixed-signal schematics and multilayer PCB layouts.
Own component selection, design trade-offs, and bills of materials (BOMs).
Design power distribution, voltage regulation, clocking, grounding, and signal interfaces.
Prepare PCB fabrication and assembly deliverables and coordinate prototype manufacturing.
Lead board bring-up, functional verification, measurements, and root-cause debugging.
Use oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and other laboratory instruments as appropriate to validate performance.
Collaborate with RF, firmware, mechanical, and other engineering teams on system integration.
Maintain clear design documentation, test records, design reviews, and revision history.
Required Qualifications
BSc/MSc in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
Required Skills
Proficiency in Autodesk EAGLE for schematic capture and PCB layout.
Proven hands-on ability to design and integrate analog, digital, and RF circuitry, including power regulation and mixed-signal partitioning.
Practical experience with multilayer PCB layout, return-current paths, grounding, decoupling, impedance control, and signal integrity.
Ability to interpret component datasheets, specifications, reference designs, and measurement results.
Experience designing reliable external I/O interfaces, including connector selection, ESD and surge protection, filtering, termination, and appropriate isolation.
Working knowledge of EMC-aware design, including emissions and immunity mitigation, shielding, cable/interface effects, and preparation for pre-compliance and certification testing.
Strong laboratory troubleshooting skills, technical documentation in English, and effective cross-disciplinary collaboration.
Approximately 3+ years of relevant professional electronics/PCB design experience is preferred; strong mid-level candidates with demonstrated end-to-end design ownership will also be considered.
Experience taking hardware from initial design through prototype iterations, verification, and production handover.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Altium Designer and/or KiCad in addition to Autodesk EAGLE.
Direct involvement in EMC pre-compliance testing, formal EMC certification, and resolving test failures.
Experience with RF PCB layout, controlled-impedance structures, RF matching networks, and measurement/validation.
Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, digital interfaces, or test automation. Coding knowledge is not required.
Experience in rapid prototyping, design for manufacture/assembly and iterative hardware development.
