Role Overview 

We are looking for a licensed Electrical Engineer in Cyprus to support projects involving grid connection, technical supervision, and commissioning. The role requires hands‑on experience working with utility networks, regulatory requirements, and the full lifecycle of electrical systems - from connection to successful commissioning and handover. 

This is a key technical role ensuring compliance, safety, and smooth integration of electrical systems into the national grid in Cyprus. 

Responsibilities 

• Manage and support grid connection activities with local utility providers
• Coordinate and supervise electrical works related to power grid connections
• Provide technical support throughout project execution
• Participate in testing, commissioning, and final handover of electrical installations
• Ensure compliance with Cypriot electrical regulations and licensing requirements
• Coordinate with contractors, utilities, and internal project teams
• Support the preparation and review of technical documentation required for approvals
• Resolve technical issues during installation, commissioning, and grid connection 

Requirements 

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Valid Electrical Engineer license for Cyprus
• Proven experience with grid connections and utility network coordination
• Hands-on experience in commissioning and brining electrical systems into operation
• Knowledge of local standards, regulations, and approval processes in Cyprus
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the electrical scope
• Strong understanding of power systems and electrical networks
• Experience working with utility providers, contractors and installation teams, regulatory/ approval authorities
• Experience in energy, PV, BESS, or infrastructure projects
• Prior involvement in grid‑connected renewable or industrial systems
• Experience supporting documentation for inspections and final acceptance
