Equipment Maintenance Technician

As we further strengthen our operations in Cyprus, we are looking for a motivated Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our Cyprus team and help ensure the reliable operation of our store equipment.

The Role

As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the performance and reliability of the equipment used across the Coffee Island store network in Cyprus.

You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment, helping ensure uninterrupted store operations and the consistent quality of products delivered to our customers. Working closely with stores and internal teams, you will provide both on-site and remote technical support while contributing to the efficient operation of our Service Center.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily remote and on-site technical support to stores across the Coffee Island network.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment both in the Service Center and at store locations.
• Install, test, and commission equipment in new and existing stores.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Respond promptly to technical issues and support stores in resolving equipment-related problems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status.
• Ensure the cleanliness, organization and, proper operation of the Service Center, tools, and technical equipment.
• Monitor and manage spare parts inventory, ensuring the availability of critical components and timely replenishment when required.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance processes and technical support services.

Qualifications & Experience

·         Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related technical field from a Technical, Vocational, or Higher Education Institution.

·         Previous experience in equipment maintenance, technical service, repairs, or a related technical role will be considered an advantage.

·         We also welcome applications from junior technicians with 1-2 years of relevant experience and a strong willingness to learn and develop their technical skills.

·         Valid driving license.

Skills & Competencies

·         Very good command of English.

·         Good computer literacy, including MS Office applications.

·         Good technical understanding and ability to diagnose equipment-related issues.

·         Strong attention to detail, reliability, and professional conduct.

·         Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively.

·         Good communication and customer service skills.

·         Ability to manage priorities and respond effectively to technical issues.

·         Willingness and ability to travel daily across Cyprus using company vehicles.
