Emphasys Centre operates in the last 28 years as an Education, ICT Training, Research and Development Centre. Emphasys is a leading organization for the coordination, management and implementation of Research Projects under various programmes e.g. Erasmus+, CoVE, Alliances of Innovation, Capacity Building in VET, AMIF, CERV, Creative Europe, ESF. It has a well-established network of organisations, both in Cyprus and in Europe, aiming to promote the EU policies related to the digital transformation, green transition, sustainable development, social inclusion, human rights etc.

Emphasys is seeking to hire an ambitious EU Project Manager - Digital Technologies to join a team of diverse professionals, working in an energetic and supportive environment where he/she will be inspired, challenged and rewarded!

The EU Project Manager - Digital Technologies will be required to:

•  Implement, manage and coordinate EU-funded research projects related to the digital transformation

•  Contribute to the development of inclusive and sustainable digital tools/solutions

• Conduct fieldwork research (e.g. interviews, surveys, focus groups, podcasts), prepare reports and/or develop content in various forms (e.g. training material) ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery

•  Organise and participate in F2F and virtual seminars, webinars, workshops and other activities

•  Manage communication with stakeholders, consortium partners and internal teams

•  Prepare and deliver presentations

•  Contribute to the development of new project proposals

• Travel extensively representing Emphasys in international and EU level events, meetings and conferences

•   Assist in the promotion of the organisation and the expansion of its network

For this position, Emphasys Centre is searching for motivated individuals with:

•  Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills as well as adaptability skills

• Flexible time-schedule due to travelling abroad

• Excellent knowledge of English and Greek (both written and oral)

• Strong interest in emerging technologies

Required qualifications:

• University degree in Computer Science, Computer or Software Engineering, Engineering (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical), AI and Machine Learning, Robotics, Educational Technology, Digital pedagogy or any other related degree.

Additional qualifications and experience

• A Masters and/or PhD degree in any of the above fields
• Previous experience in a similar position related to the implementation/management of EU projects
• HRDA Certified trainer (EQF Level 5)

•  The position currently available is open for full-time engagement on-site

The successful candidate will be offered:
