The GNOSIS Mediterranean Institute for Management Science (www.unic.ac.cy/gnosis) announces a new full-time position. An attractive remuneration package, ranging from €1350 to €1850 per month shall be offered in accordance with qualifications and experience.

This is a six-month probationary position, with the prospect of renewal based on performance and project needs.

Position Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating and executing work required by the research projects GNOSIS is running, as well as for the development of proposals for new projects (primarily EU ones).  

We are looking for high calibre individuals who demonstrate the following attributes: 

• Excellent writing skills with fluency in English (also in Greek, would be an advantage)
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Pleasant personality with excellent teamwork skills
• Willingness and availability to travel abroad
• Resilience and agility
• Eagerness to learn and take initiative

The position entails, but is not limited to the following tasks and responsibilities:

• Manage research projects and offer relevant administrative support
• Financial Management of EU funded projects
• Conduct literature reviews and prepare reports
• Prepare research proposals and grant applications
• Conduct fieldwork research (interviews, survey research, observations, focus groups)
• Prepare data collection instruments and collect and analyse data
• Write up research work for publication or other means of dissemination, such as social media
• Prepare and deliver project presentations
• Develop reports, project outputs, training material, and deliver trainings and workshops as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of prior experience in EU project management
• Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in any field

Preferred Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related fields will be considered an asset
